Research group leader: Circadian neuroendocrinology.
We study the circadian control of neuroendocrine systems, their control of sleep-wake rhythms, and energy metabolism, and the role of biological sex differences in these processes. We focus on the use of circadian knowledge to improve health for shift workers and others in our 24-hour society. Moreover we study pituitary and hypothalamic disease, with a focus on pituitary tumours, Cushing's disease, acromegaly, and prolactinoma.
