My main research topic is computational microbiome studies, with a specific focus on viruses of microbes called bacteriophages. I study how these viruses shape the microbiome in diseases like metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes, and how they are altered as disease progresses. Besides this, I am involved in the bioinformatics analyses of various transcripromics and metabolomics studies.
